De one with Highlights of the Week

Sunny weather reveals again

It's been a fruitful week. Here are the highlights for this entire crazy week. Bought to you by Jason. Haha.

Monday...

Zhen Ze and I went to FJ Benjamin building for enquiry on a job interview. It was a kind frined, Ben's fill-in. Thus we went there, expecting for to see the Human Resource staff, Cynthia. End up, we filled in the application form.

Thunderstorm approached in the afternoon. It started before we ended our business at FJBB. Thus we had no choice but to run to the nearest shelter which was Shaw House since Zhen Ze needed to get to possible bookstores for purchase of notebooks. It was fun Went Borders, then Kinokuniya where I end up buying a new address book and an Japanese guidebook featuring the works and review of manga artistes.

Do you know where's the post office at Orchard? It's located on the fourth floor of Ngee Ann City shopping centre. Nearly got mixed up on the directions. Thank goodness Zhen Ze was there! For what? To buy stamps lor..for a standardised stamp for my traditional practice every X'mas! Shhh.. won't reveal so much. hehehe.

Tuesday...

Morning I went for an 8km jog. Seemed to be enjoying and exploring more of the new route I've found earlier. I ran up all the way till Toa Payoh now..hehe.. Anyway, came back, Cynthia called. Made a way down for an interview. I realised, I'm not very fluent. Perhaps it's my first interview session. Demoralised but hey, I've gotta buck up!

Clara said I should smile more. Haha.. I think I shouldn't forsake this beautiful smile I have. Oops. *face burning red*

After interview, I met Max. We strolled around Orchard since he wanted to get an expensive letter opener for someone. Sigh. End up getting one from Tiffany & Co. Omg. After that, we went Funan since I wanted to get a new PC game. End up, I bought a new NUM slippers! Omg.

It was an eventful day. Nightfall I had supper with Clara. Usual time, usual place, usual food. Hehe. It felt really good... the session brought us back to the old times.. Was sinful to have ice cream after pratas and milo lor.. Dear Clara made a jar of cookies for me.. Awww... It were superbly delicious. There was this last layer of cookies which tasted like my favourite Subway cookies. Omg. Finished the whole jar in the next two days!

Wednesday and Thursday were rest day... Haha. I think so. Couldn't remember much, spare some time recuperating and learning more about cooking.

Friday (yesterday) was great after two days of rest. I went 10km in the morning. After which met Denn for movies. Step Up. Pretty nice movie. The dance, actors and actresses were great. Inspirational sotryline. Awesome!

I must admit it was abit boring since we were stuck in a shop (to accompany Denn's friend who's working there). Had a delicious dinner at Far East Plaza, met some of his friends before setting off for the main purpose of the day.

Travelled to Pasir Panjang. I must admit it was totally worth it. Attended this Buddhist teachings. The Larma discussed about effective communication and answered certain questions from the disciples. Whatever was said it practical and relevant. In order to have good communication, one should anticipate, listen and casting our egos aside.

I am delightfully surprised. The way the Larma conducted his teaching was less formal and monologing as expected or perceived. He talked in a friendly manner and delivered his wisdom in an easily understandable way. Impressive.

Today is another rest day. Sam asked me out but I was sorry to say I didn't feel like leaving home. Having some tough time organising this outing for my gang next coming Saturday. Sigh.
I shall persevere.

Besides, I helped alot in preparing dinner. Cooked the rice. Have most of the ingredients done. Hey, I'm a guy who pocess some skills wor.. Outstanding day! hehe..
