De one with Am I Who I Am Really

Raining all day

Yesterday was the first time in this year I've ever organised an outing for the gang. Not so bad.. out of 10, 7 turned up. The rest really had individual valid reasons. Jielong's down for an obligating friend's 21st Birthday concert; poor Weili's feeling unwell; beef-loving Jessamine's put in a difficult make-up situation with her organ instructor.

It turned out to be the 3rd time I've been to Vivocity. Not forgetting the night before and the panic from confirming for online booking of a commonly-agreed movie until afternoon. For that, I proudly say I passed the baton and walk down the position for event-organiser. Haha.

Nevertheless, it was gratifying since the gang haven't been meeting up spared Clara's birthday. Plus our busy Naval-officier cadet, Wei Cai, turned up too.

We went for dinner as we waited for those who were late yet not joining us for dinner. Watched Dejavu. A pretty complicated story about this ATF agent Doug Corlin who is involved in a terrorism-act prevention mission via the aid of a very advanced system which is able to bring back the past as an interactive present and, the ability to teleport light mass objects. The ending? It was pretty good. The terrorist (an obessed self-declared patriot) was killed before
the bombing of the ferry commerced.

After that, Kok Sin left as usual since he needed to catch the last train back. While others who were gang-orientated kinda turned down that he's always so concerned with catching the last train back, it occurred to me... Why?

Kok Sin hardly ever mention his Dad. Being understanding, I thought, perhaps it's inevitable he has to miss all the fun from what we could have done staying out late.. that maybe he has to be home early to accompany his Mom.. otherwise, save money (from taking a cab) or not to cause his parent(s) to be worried bah. Well.. then again, nobody knows.. perhaps I'm being too understanding.

We headed down to our nearest Ktv which landed us in Chinatown. Sang till our throats became sore. All thanks to Clara who secretly dubbed their "invented" Jason's concert when I was singing "Yong Qi". Omg. Good thing was both of us sang a song together for the very first time in all history. Haha.

Clara left shortly after we came out of KTV. We then hang around Maxwell market as we waited for the time to pass for us to catch the first train back.

In the milst, I enjoyed myself. However, there was a mysterious part in me that was troubled. Well, I can't sing very well.. and I tend not be as sociable as I thought I wanted to be. Unknowingly, I questioned myself, am I who I am really?

There are alot troubling me.. Though I pretend I'm alright, unbothered and smiling. Perhaps I'm striving too hard to achieve greatness. But.. is this what I really wanted? Who knows...

Arrived home around 7am before the wearing out starts in. I had a really fun time!
