De one with Education Saga (Ep1)

This will be a continual saga broken into a few parts. In which spotlights my installments from my entire years of education!

Oki, mind your saliva and popping-out eyes. I thought, why not having it constructed in a different style. Firstly, since it'd be pretty boring to have it in long essay format like previous'. Secondly, it's another way for my creativity to come into play in here. In view of this point, it's argued we have seen this in magazines and media. Well... the story bears 100% originality as it's about me ley. Hehe.

Episode 1:
That's a very interesting way of expressing in your introduction. So Jason, perhaps tell us when would you consider the start of your "education saga"?

To my impression, the idea of "10 years of education" would snap into the minds of majority people. Unfortunately, I guess what's worth mentioning will have to start from my Kindergarden. Which I felt is the start of the entire saga =)

*Laughter* Ok.. well, where did you received your nursary education then?

Well, to as far I as I recall, I was 4-5 years old when nursary education was enforceable. Surprising but it's true, I attended 2 different kindergarden.

Wuao.. two kindergardens? Now..why is that so?

The first one I went to was PAP's kindergarden. Bet alot fo us recognised the white, blue and red logo and it was always located on the first storey of housing blocks back then? Apparantly, I was pretty "sticky" to my family members, especially my ah-ma (Hokkien: Granny). I cried like hell when everytime I didn't see anyone familiar. Guess I cried to much before the adults had no choice but to let me rest a period to become more independent before transfering me to another Kindergarden at a nearby community centre.

So desuka. (Japanese: I see) I believe the next thing readers would wanna know is how or what was your official nursary education like. Maybe you'd like to tell us more about this..
ya..

I remember my nursary ed at the community centre was better. I was still constant reliant on the sight and accompany of my ah-ma. Unknowingly, perhaps I was tricked and eventually, I was able to survive the days I was in nursary school.

..What was the duration spent at the nursary CC everyday?

Hmmm... it's from noon till early evening. Like 12:00pm till 6:00pm..

Please continue.. Yes, do carry on..

Generally, everyday we go to school and learnt basics like reading from big charts with pictures, nursary rythms, writing, foundational mathematics, colouring, simplified art work and go for outdoor activities. Most of sure are ball games, puzzle, skipping and playing with hulla-hoop. Omg!

Oh! I remember there will be a tea-break. That's when we'll each expect a cup of hot milo. There's one unforgettable occassion when I had a friend, I think he's name was Mathew or Daniel. He was celebrating his birthday and party during our tea-break. I don't know why I suddenly thought and miss my ah-ma, I started crying and screaming "I want ah-ma.. I want ah-ma". Thinking back, I think it was embarassing because my outburst spoiled the poor guy's birthday since there were others who cried along. You know, kids! Oops.

Omg! Really?

Ya. *blushing*

*Laughter commotion*

Oki.. well, Boys are deemed "noti-boy".. Any instances of misbehaviour from your personal experience back then?

Ooh..yes. Pretty embarrassing! I remember there was one evening, I befriended these two boys who dared each other to draw on the plastic and metal school chairs with the crayons we got as a birthday party gift. Omg. In the end, the teacher caught us. We had our crayons confiscated and each had a ruler beating on our palms. Now that I remember, one of them was my supposedly good friend, Yuan Zhao. He wore spects and came from a family of gangsters.

Another was during K2 when me and this girl, Yao Yun, whom everybody teased was my girlfriend since we go together very well..

Sorry. But I can't help asking how did this special girl looked like?

Erm.. cute? big sparkling eyes? nah.. I can't remember.. but she was adorable nevertheless.
She used to live in the block just opposite mine.

*Grinning* ok.. you were saying?

*shy smiling* During one of our free play-time. The both of us used a string and tied it around another friend (the son of a warehouse shop). Perhaps we were re-enacting what we saw on the television drama most probably. The teacher warned us and notified our guardians. Haha.

That's pretty bad. Next, mind telling some interesting events which took place?

There's two worth mentioning about. One was I got enrolled into an art class. In which I mentioned in my previous blog. Ref: De one with Art.

Well well.. it seems like it's about time we wrap up for the day. Want to know what's another interesting event Jason took part? And more, what Jason does after kindergarden hours, before actually going home? Stay tune for the next installment...
