De one with Goodbye 2006

Cool and windy

What did you do for the last day of year 2006? Most probably staying at home and sleep it over like any other day. Some are crowding at Esplanade audiencing the spectacular fireworks display. While others are standing outside Vivocity where Mediacorp was holding a countdown party.

I bid goodbye to 2006 overnight at Jeffer's house. It was also a get-together for my bunk of specialists. Only Zhen Ze, Eric and Joshua couldn't make it. It was enjoyable though abit tiring because we were awake the entire night till morning. Without any sleep, we drank Volka Ruby Red (a generous sharing from our lao da, Jeffers) with green tea and coca cola. Had a couple packages of chips (contributed by Kenneth), played endless card games and had a great laugh over it.

We even met (Sgt) Eddy in the middle of the night since the guy was just living a few blocks away from Jeffer's place. We were honoured to be the first of Charlie Specialists ever to visit (Sgt) Eddy's new flat. It was big and spacious. Neatly and humbling decorated too.

I got to learn a new card game called "Bridge". It's kinda out dated game. But hey! It's complicated.. most of the time I was merely playing clueless of what was important to notice. Haha! =p

Well well... before it stuck 12 midnight, we didn't really do a countdown. Ha! Then all of us were busy entertaining ourselves with our sms-flooded cell phones until I voiced that it was past 12:02 am and everybody greeted Happy New Year to each other. Omg.

Hmmm... You must be wondering how was 2006? Ponder no more, here's a quick flashback!!

Jan - Feb : Overseas training in New Zealand. It was fun!
Mar : Dating with an undesirable partner
Apr : ORD!! Hooray, Civilian again!
May : Cleared all my driving theory with Chin Yu
June : Travel to Melbourne alone
July : Vacation at BKK, Starting of course at SIM and got attached
Aug : 21st Birthday!
Oct : Break up. First uni examinations! Did pretty well!
Nov : My first Job interview. Crazy about Bleach Anime!
Dec : Relatively fabulous Xmas and release of Jay Chou's 2nd movie!!

Ha! There you have it! Looks like it's really been an eventful year!! Though there have been setbacks. I made some proud achievements! With that, I bid Goodbye to year 2006. Take this opportunity to wish for a better 2007~*
